Cottage Details
Owl Cottage is 3 star graded with all the
accommodation on one floor. It is in the centre of Appleby
and nestles against the ancient Almshouses which were built
in the 1600's on behalf of Lady Anne Clifford, the local
benefactress. Owl cottage was built a little later, but
is over 200 years old.

The accomodation sleeps two people. There
is one double bedroom with a king size bed. There is a modern
bathroom with shower facilities (but no bath).
Modern kitchen with cooker, toaster, kettle,
fridge/ freezer and microwave.
Lounge/diner with TV and Radio/tape/CD,
gas fire and central heating.

The cottage has full central heating.
Electricity, gas, linen and towels are included
in the price.
Owl Cottage is open all year except for
Christmas and New Year. It is let on a weekly basis although
short lets of 3 days are available. It is a strictly non
smoking establishment and one small dog is allowed by prior
arrangement.
Ring Angela about parking - outside the
front door for a medium car or on street with a parking
permit for a large car (I drive a Mondeo and park outside
the front door) Directions to the cottage will be sent prior
to the booking date.
Booking
Terms are;
£60 per night with a minimum stay
of 3 nights payable as a non-refundable deposit of £50
with the balance payable 30 days prior to the booked date.
Payment by cheque is preferred.
